What, if you read my fic, is/are the characteristic(s) that stand(s) out the most?
So anyway... Maybe it's because I went to bed so late last night, but I didn't get up until like 7am this morning or something. It was CRAZY! But I felt better for the sleep, so I'm not gonna bitch about it. But it sure was weird to wake up to actual daylight!
Paid a few bills this morning, worked with my ponies on Howrse, and generally did that sort of thing this morning. Then we went to lunch at Golden Grill, a Mongolian BBQ up in Silverdale that we've been curious about. It was pretty good food, too. Not as good as the Jasmine Mongolian grill over by SeaTac Mall, but good for the proximity. We'll go back. After that, we hit PetSmart and got feeders for Papi [as well as cat litter, a hood for the 20 gal tank that Papi will be going into, and some treats for Bailey's Yule stocking]. And I fell in love with 3 adorable little kittens up for adoption. SO cute! After that, we hit Costco to get laundry soap and cat litter. We tried to find the missing seasons of NCIS & CSI: Miami that we need, but no luck, tho' we did get to pick up Sleeping Beauty. So, since we were so close, we hit Best Buy and bought the 4 season we were missing of NCIS. We didn't get s6 of CSI: Miami as I was not about to pay $90 for a single season on DVD. Fuck that! I'll check out my other avenues to get it cheaper, but that? Is highway fucking robbery! I almost picked up Private Practice S1, but decided to save that for my wish list for b'day/Yule instead. And then, after snacks from DQ, we headed home. I did my update for femslash_today while shatterpath pounded out details for the trip to the 'Peg in December to get ardvari. And now? We're watching the special features from the S4 NCIS box set.
And did I mention that we now own all 5 seasons of NCIS on DVD? *squee* I'm SO glad that I got to talk shatterpath into watching some of the S1 & S2 eps with Kate and got her curious enough to say fuck it and get all the seasons. I think this is the only show that I have have all the seasons for. No wait, we have all of the seasons of The Muppet Show, I think. But srsly, all 5 seasons!!! *squee*
And while I'm here, I've got a few more bits of fun time-wasting shit for y'all...
And now, off to work on my "character creation questionnaire" for my two main characters for my NaNo piece...
