AH!

Wow, I finally did my taxes tonight. I realized, in the process, that I screwed something up last year and didn't get as much as I should have.

That's okay, I probably don't have all the records I'd need to go to H&R Block for the previous returns thingamawhatsit.

I'm starving to death right now and have a Latin quiz tomorrow morning at 9 am sharp. Then I get to drive 45 minutes to have a meeting with the Honors Department guy from NIU. YAY!

I can't skip again this Friday, though. Last time I opted out of my 1:00 class and felt horrible when the teacher concernedly asked "Are you alright?".

I love my professors this semester. They're all really cool, and have very constructive teaching styles.

Things are just looking better and better -I better appreciate all this coolness. You never know when I'm going to have a mood swing. LOL...

So yeah... Going to Chili (which I hate) and board games (which I love) at endlezzdream's house on Sunday. That will be cool, but I'll have to supplement my dinner of crackers and a taste of chili meat. I cannot stand chili, I've never liked it. Then again, my tastes have changed so much in the last several years that I have to at least give it a taste. I'm pretty sure I still don't like it, though.

I got notification yesterday that I am not eligible to hold a campus job for one year, due to my dismissal for 1. tardiness, 2. not calling in for scheduled work times, and 3. not showing up for scheduled work times.

Aren't items 2&3 the same damn thing? All of these, by the way, are highly contestable seeins as how I DID call in when I was going to miss work and my employer NEVER gave me a verbal warning or reprimand. I think the reason she did this was that my class schedule ended up conflicting with the work schedule we agreed upon (I'll take responsibility for that -I wasn't positive about my class schedule when we agreed) and so I informed her I couldn't work certain days. Apparently she expected me on those days anyway?

I'm a little ticked off at this whole situation, seeing as how I have notice to this woman LAST SEMESTER that I was leaving the school and therefore would like to be replaced and phased out of the office. She finally posted the job on the career services board the day AFTER she dismissed me. This semester.

RRRRRRGH. Things have a way of working out, though! I'm not going to bother with that wench because it's her word against mine and she's an obstinate battleaxe.

Also, I applied for work at my old place of employment (the one I loved so much) delivering pizza 2-3 nights a week and got hired on the spot. The manager of the whole store was hired when I was a shift runner, and I trained him in his early days. Now he's the big-wig and vaguely remembers me. *sigh* I love it when a plan comes together. =)

All the pieces are coming together nicely, now all I have to do is get housing for us in Dekalb (filled out some apps this week) and take care of my transfer issues (300/500 level english course and honors classes are NOT electives). Then I'll be SO ready to move!!!!

I even have a fun-filled weekend ahead of me if I can just get through TOMORROW!!!
