moving in shadows

After trying for 4 days to stop one of my meds I found myself ready to die.  When they say this stuff causes all sorts of nastiness if stopped abruptly they aren't kidding.  I was sleepless for 3.5 days and then finally I went to the hospital Friday evening as my blood pressure was 190/110 pulse 105, with a fever and the feel of hot iron poking through my skull.  Melrose Hospital was amazing and we got things under control and sent me home feeling somewhat human with an idea of what I am not going to do again. *sigh*

On the plus side, I slept my ass off Sat & Sun, cleaned like a devil, saw the Dresden Dolls, got hit because of kilt wearing.  :-)
Saw my oldest friend and his wife which is always good and then hung out with a few friends for silliness and fluffy movies.
Something I could get used to doing again.

Now back to work for a day, party tonight and I need to make the big decision about my Polar Bear swim.

Anyone interested in going to Plum Island/Newburyport tomorrow mid morning, either watch or participate in swimming in the ocean.
Then off to pancakes and hot coca and the best pancake house in Ma.

Any takers?  You can stay warm, or you can get wet and go for a refreshing cleansing dip in the Atlantic.  This will be year 4 for me.
