I don't know any personally, per se, but plenty on the internet, and they are perfectly kind to me. I know that their sexual preferences are different from mine, but it doesn't mean that I am any less kind in return or that I treat them differently, because they've done nothing that deserves that. My brother, for example. His best friend Christina has another best friend called Guy. He is very openly gay, and it doesn't bother either of them one bit. From what I hear, he's actually very very funny and nice.
Besides, any guy who's hot is either gay or taken.
And yes, people who discriminate against homosexuals should just go curl up and die in some random corner. Because it's what they deserve. It's alright to have a little bit of homophobia, simply because it's natural. I may not be afraid of heights, but there's still a doubt when I'm way up high. I'm not afraid of spiders, but I'll still scream to hell and back if I see a gigantic one. It applies for everything. And I won't lie and say I don't still fear them a little, but I would never, ever, ever ostracise someone openly for being one.
And I, too, can only hope that any of my friends would be willing to tell me, because I would never dream of ever treating them differently.
Because that's just not who I am, and it's certainly not who you are, Rajeeta.
