I got an A on my micro research paper for English. Dr. Jasken kept hinting that I would be getting an A by the end of the semester. It feels nice to have my teachers pat me on the back; it doesn't happen very often. This is the first semester in a long time where I've been doing really well in all of my classes. It helps that I enjoy going to all of them. The work is hard, but not challenging to the point where I'm pulling my hair out.

I looked at my requirements to graduate. I tried to figure out what I have to take and when I'm going to take them. I already planned next semester; it's not the wisest schedule but I'm really excited about it! I'd have German and a class called Voice and Movement for the Actor on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I would have one class called Medieval, Classical, and Renaissance Theater. On Fridays, along with the other two classes, I would have UNARMED STAGE COMBAT CLASS for three hours.

STAGE COMBAT. I hear a few professors on campus are taking that class; I can't wait- I get to pretend punch my teachers. The dream just seemed so far away.

I also need to work in a semester abroad. I want to study somewhere in Ireland, but McDaniel has its own campus in Budapest, Hungary. I'm kind of torn; I'll probably go to Budapest and study in Ireland for Jan Term. I really hope I get all of the credits I need finished before May 2011. I look at Sam and I see that he's almost 26; still without a Bachelor's, still living at home, still working for everyone else and not getting anything for himself. I'd like to be done when I anticipated to be done.

Mike always tells me that it's silly to worry about this now and that worrying for four years got him nowhere. Well, I don't want to have to stay at McDaniel any longer than I have to.
