An evening of walking
Dad and I picked up Nadine around 2:30 and drove to McDaniel. Nadine and I talked about Moreland, Slaughter, Donald, Kirkendall, and Bockol the whole way; my father was so confused. :)
I went to dinner with Annie, Jess, and Cindy. They told me all about their trip to New Jersey/Philadelphia. I was slightly jealous that they had had so much fun. I told them about running into Mr. Slaughter at my high school and how he just stared at my chest the whole time I was talking and they laughed. They also thought my pumpkin stealing story was funny.
Mike came to sit down next to us. I was squirming the whole time- so happy to see him. After dinner, Mike, Jess, and I went walking around. We walked to down by Winslow Hall next to the football field. We went up to the pissing stone that doesn't piss. Jess left us after awhile, but Mike and I stayed. We kept trying to tickle each other and make each other scream.
We walked around campus for the longest time- he showed me the garden apartments, parts of the North Village, and the sporting fields. We walked down this secluded path (it was about 8pm at this point) and we sat down in the pavillion. I kept trying to get him to hold me/hug me. I kept failing miserably. We walked to the tennis courts and collapsed on the grass. We looked up at the clouds and saw Pac-Man, a mouth guard, a dead butterfly, sausage links, and a kitten. It started to get cold so we walked all the way to his car and went back to the pavillion. We split paths around 11pm.
BUT I HAVE A DATE.
Next friday, we're going the Chinese place in town called Forbidden City (I think). I am really excited. He didn't ask me, I just sort of said, "Okay- we're getting Chinese food next week" and he said, "Sounds good."
It's a start?
