Yesterday was quite a day

Here it is:

After my parents left and the fan started to smoke I sent my mother an email complaining about it. A few hours went by and at 6:15 I met at Big Baker (the big Methodist chapel) with my FYS. We started walking to the theater (also called Alumni Hall) and waited outside for what seemed like eternity.

Nadine Heron came up to me and gave me a hug. :) Nadine was awesome, what else? We chatted for a few minutes about this program, Choices. Nadine said it was presented in the funniest way.

We walked inside and sat down in the seats in front of the stage- best seats in the house. 'Choices' was this "don't drink, don't do drugs, respect women, don't be racist" play where the cast wore colored t-shirts that said CHOICES 2007. It was a really funny/cheesey show.

The guy in the yellow shirt bumped the Asian girl and said, "Move it, Fortune Cookie!"
Two guys kissed each other.
AND WHEN THEY TALKED ABOUT CONDOMS!!!! CONDOMS!!!
One cast member asked the audience, "You don't think it's cool to wear condoms?" Suddenly, three guys come out dressed as Spartans. The first Spartan with the giant plume in his helmet shouted, "SPARTANS! TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT WHERE THEY DIE!" as soon as he said that, four or five other cast members appeared on stage left with little white sailor hats pretending to be little swimming sperm. They crashed themselves on the shields of the Spartan condoms. It was a scream!

Afterwards, I helped strike the set. The stage is built kind of like ours, but bigger. THERE IS A HUGE STAR WARS ELEVATOR STAGE RIGHT!!!!! I thought it was just a giant niche in the wall. IT WAS HUGE!!! I stepped inside, a cage came down from the top to close us in and then these two big black solid walls came down together and we started moving. It's really old and creaky. So cool.

I put the wigs in the wig box and I was done.

When I came back to my dorm, there was an email from my mother. She said dad would be at McDaniel at 8 to drop off my new fan. The time was 8:51. I ran downstairs and outside looking for dad. I found Nadine and told her to keep her eyes peeled for a big guy with a mustache and no hair named Harry. She said she would and walked away. I stood there and saw my dad's car pull up. He and Sam had the fan and had been looking for me forever.

Anyway, the new fan works and dad took the other fan hope to fix and test.

I start my classes today. French with Prof. Motard-Noar at 9:10. I have that class with Jessica and Cindy.

funny, fan, choices
