"Fuck you- that's my name!"
Chantel's mama gave us pepper spray to go to see HP5 last night. XD Chantel and I drove there, bought our tickets, and sat down in the front next to Meara and the others. We sat there for about an hour and then the movie finally started. I liked it- I liked it more than 'Chamber of Secrets' or 'Goblet of Fire'. I think part of it was that Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint didn't have such stupid looking haircuts. The Weasly twins had a bigger part BUT THEY DIDN'T SHOW THEM LEAVING HOGWARTS- WHAT THE FUCK?!!? That was my FAVORITE part in the book. Tonks and Lupin were barely in the movie.
Of course...Gary Oldman did an awesome job. Again. Except when he died, I did cry a little because I love Sirius Black and Gary Oldman. I told Chantel that for a split second, I thought the movie makers were going to do an "alternate" HP version; the one where Sirius lives. But alas, that did not happen. I know that movie could have gone on for at least another 20 minutes- they cut out SO much. The rest they made into deleted scenes, which is STUPID. Movie makers don't understand- I don't buy the dvd for TONS AND TONS OF EXTRA SCENES. Stick the important ones in the movie, the ones that carry story, and leave the gratuitous scenes as extras. I don't buy a dvd to buy a dvd, I buy the dvd for the movie. What's wrong with those people?
The only thing the Harry Potter movies ever get right is the music- I mean, come on, it's John Williams!
