Hello!
On Monday, I hung out with one of my lolita friends. We chatted and wandered around Pittsford plaza, browsing in a few of the stores. In the craft store, we discovered a shared love of cupcakes and strawberries. I was also fortunate to find the sparkly crystals that I use in making the eyepatches for my business,
A Fox's Dream. The price was great, so I got a bunch of them. Shapes included a key, crown, cross, skull, strawberry, apple, etc. Hopefully, I will be having a booth at Tora-Con 2012 in the Artist Alley.
I also tried on and bought a skirt with a matching headband. My friend had it posted for sale awhile ago. And since I am working on expanding the clothes part of my lolita wardrobe, it worked out good for both of us. It is black with a brown and pink chocolate candy print on it by In the Starlight. I'm thinking I might wear it to the next group meet-up.
Here's a pic of my outfit:
Full outfit description: Black velvet headbow on a white pearl headband, golden bow post earrings, navy x white 3/4 sleeve blouse with ruffles down the front, black short-sleeve cardgan with side bow, golden pocket watch necklace, golden thumb ring, black velvet skirt, navy x light blue polka dot knee socks, black shoes.
I decided to try a classic look this time. I think it turned out alright. I even wore my new petticoat! This outfit was comfy and warm, so I didn't need to wear a coat that day.
