Merry Christmas everyone! I'm wide awake like a giddy child waiting for Santa. My sister and her kids stayed the night and they are fast asleep. My parents just went to bed and Veronika is reading.
We all watched the TBS marathon of A Christmas Story. What's Christmas without watching that? It wouldn't be the same! My dad apparently loves that movie. I didn't know that.
I'm making homemade eggnog! I had to let the cinnamon and cloves marinate in the rum for 12 hours or I would be drinking it now. I'm anxious to know if it will taste any good. Wish me luck! I've never made it before.
The kids all got to open one gift this evening. My parents bought Matthew and Veronika each a kids camcorder. They got Jordan a camera for kids that he can't break even if he throws it across the room. Veronika loves her camcorder and already has made movies that she wants to put on YouTube. We'll see about that.
I think I will kick back and watch Ghost Hunters.
