I borrowed a really cute book from the library today. There was a link to download some music, and it hadn't expired yet, so I tried it out. My download was successful. I was happy because everything was free. None of the three songs are new, they're just from the movie soundtrack, but listening to the songs enhanced my reading experience, added some magic.
A Dream is a Wish Your Heart MakesThe Work SongBibbidi Bobbidi Boo There were six stories in this book. I took a few photos of my favourite pictures.
I always love the picture of the dress the mice make, when it's a "work in progress", especially.
I always loved this picture, Cinderella looks distressed and also very pretty.
I really liked this story. Cinderella puts on a wig and a maid's outfit to learn how to palace staff truly feel about their work. I love that she never forgets her humble beginnings, even though she is royalty.
A while ago, I scanned a picture from this book. The King's wife, Cinderella's mom in their wedding dresses, and a portrait of Cinders as well. I love how she combines traditions, keeping her mother's dress style, and also encorportating the necklace from the King's wife. (I have a tag dedicated to "
the dress that my mother wore" on tumblr, but I digress.)
I kind of wish I could be like Cinderella, having picnics in the park, making bouquets. It's a charmed life for sure.
I am a big fan of her redesign (and Ariel's fwiw). I love how her hair is swept up into a bun, and you can see the strands of her hair. It's more natural than before.
