Look at how lovely her posing is. The downcast eyes, contented smile, the angle of her wrist as swings the basket from her lap, her other hand dropping to balance her as she stands up. Even her famous curls are a single form with weight and body, not a crazy explosion of superfluous fiddly bits.
Being ever conscious of what a character is thinking and doing is something I always try to do in my art. Nothing should be meaningless. You don't see this kind of subtle body language in most modern Princess art and that's a terrible shame.
