I am really sad that this show was cancelled. I actually had just bought the four-book set and I was looking forward to binge-watching and binge-reading. After cancelling the show, Disney Plus "deleted" it from the app. Luckily I have another way to watch the two seasons. So I'm binge reading the book series right now, and I'm planning on donating the books when I've finished reading them. I am sad that the show was cancelled. The books are like a combination of Roald Dahl, Lemony Snicket, and Ransom Riggs. Quirkly, clever, spunky, idiosyncratic kids go on adventures and defeat the bad guys. I kind of hope Netflix will pick it up, but Disney is very proprietary of anything they have touched.
