I love this storytelling. It's very subtle. True "showing not telling". When Woody meets Buzz, he tells him "the bed is mine". And later Woody says to Buzz, "Andy is mine." Someone I was friends with years back said that the real villian in the first movie was Woody's jealousy. And I can see that. Woody wanted to knock Buzz over the ledge of the shelf, but he ended up going out the window. I guess that was why the hug in Toy Story 4 meant so much to us millenials. Woody and Buzz became best friends after everything :)
