I've been binge watching Cars movies on Disney Plus.  It's a nice little isolated franchise.  There are animated shorts like Mater's Tall Tales, and Car Toons.  It's kind of neat how Pixar has animated cars to look human (i.e.tongues, teeth, mustaches...)   I like Mater a lot, he is really adorable.  Watching these movies again makes it even weirder that John Lasseter is no longer at Disney, because this franchise was really his franchise, even more than Toy Story was.  I mean he's doing fine now, he's still producing gorgeous animated films, but he was really the beating heart of Pixar. Sad that he's gone (from Disney/Pixar).
