I was going through my Monsters Inc/University tags on my old tumblr blog, and randomly thought of making a scare floor series. I've always been fascinated by the scare floor. Candy-coloured monsters on the clock, "scarers" and their assistants, opening children's ("scarees") files, sliding their door cards and going in to generate scream power. The scare floor may be the coolest idea in all of Pixar, ever. Which is probably where there have been so many animated shorts, spinoff sequels and even an animated TV show based on the 2001 film.
