Shoving open the door to the employee bathroom, Estella pushed a bucket full of dirty water in front of her, frowning as she caught sight of her reflection in the mirror. The janitorial uniform was drab and, she was rather sure, had not been washed in a decade. Her hair was falling out of its neat bun and there were smudges of dirt on her cheeks. She glanced down at her hands. The lacquer she had put on that first day she had walked into Liberty had long since been chipped away.
She grimaced. This was not her dream job, This was a nightmare.
