"In my illustrations, I wanted to focus on the iconic features of my favorite Disney Princesses, in simple yet dramatic styles.  All the pieces show different elements of art that inspire me - delicate lines, contrast of colors, emphasis on eyes, and cute, fashionable figures.  They were all done digitally.  The Ariel illustration is one of the closest to my heeart, because she has been my favorite Disney Princess since I was a little girl.  In this piece, I wanted to emphasize her beautiful red hair and express her unspoken emotion through her eyes. I decided to add some mystery to the piece by hiding her lower body under her hair so the viewers can decide for themselves whether she is a human or a mermaid.
