I'm scared to take the TTC now.
Click to viewIt's terrifying. I don't take the subway, but on Monday there was a homeless person harassing me for money on the bus stop and then he sat next to me. He reeked of cigarettes and he had pointy nails. I was terrified. There is a lack of affordable housing in this city and a lot of these people have mental health problems and they use the TTC as shelter. Even with the deployment of 80 overtime police officers, random attacks on the subway are still happening. The police officers can't be everywhere all at once. This has been going on for a while now. There was an Eddie Bauer closing sale at the Eaton Centre, and I was like no way am I taking the subway to go downtown.
