Caption: Here are all 12 pieces from my E! News exclusive illustration series!!!
I’m super happy with how each piece turned out and that each character has managed to stay themselves despite being thrown into new surroundings and costumes. (My inner feminist wouldn’t allow Merida or Mulan to have their weapons taken away lol) Pocahontas still loves animals, Cinderella is still dressing tiny creatures, Tiana is cooking, and Belle fell asleep reading!
I hope you enjoy the princesses you know and love, with a twist!

In all the stories he knew, princes were in charge and princesses followed. Yes, [she] was a rebel, which is why he loved her. But sometimes he wished she was less rebel and a little more princess, even if he felt like and ogre for thinking it."

One True King, Book 6 of
The School for Good and Evil series, by Sonan Chainani, page 92 of the
hardcover edition.
As you guys know, I do my
School for Good and Evil gif quote series with quotes from the books and Disney graphics. Today I decided to use fanart instead of graphics and gifs. I felt this Disney Princess/Heroines fanart mashup (Ariel as Cinderella, Cinderella as Tiana, Tiana as Elsa, Snow White as Belle, Aurora as Jasmine, Pocahontas as Rapunzel, Jasmine as Snow White, Merida as Mulan, Belle as Aurora, Mulan as Merida, Anna and Elsa subbing in for Ariel, and Rapunzel as Pocahontas) was beautiful, adorable, cute, and funny. Just looking at Naveen as a frog wearing Jaq Jaq's little outfit, or the Beast's confused face! So adorable. Kind of got me
thinking back to
this petitetiaras gif edit:
Sorry, your princess is in another castle.
That one time when Charlotte showed up at the ball and stole all the princes.Really cute. I feel like the fanart and the crack gif edit really fit in beautifully with the quote from the book. It just worked really well with the quote about what a princess is "supposed to be" like. This book is the last book of the series. There is a prequel book,
Rise of the School for Good and Evil, and that book completes the heptology. My favourite book in the series was the first one,
The School for Good and Evil. The second and third books weren't bad, but the second triology (
The Camelot Years, books 4-6) just don't work as well for me. This book series reminds me of
Once Upon a Time. The first season was all about fairytales and some classic children's books, and in season 5, the writers put all of the fairytale characters in Camelot. That show was kind of a mess. I keep wanting to re-binge watch it, but I'm lazy haha.
