Surface (2022- )
Watching the new Apple tv plus show, Surface. I was excited for this because I love Gugu Mbatha Raw, and I was excited for this because she is the main character. I know Oliver Jackson-Cohen from Hill House and Bly Manor. It's not a bad show, I'd watch anything with Gugu in it. I just wish Apple would give her some happy roles. She was on The Morning Show in season 1, and her character had an untimely end. Reece Witherspoon is producing it with her company Hello Sunshine. I think I have one episode left. Gugu is in fantastic shape. Here's a gifset. I just love her so much. I really feel like she would have made a much better Belle than Emma Watson. As evidenced by Belle (2013). The ironic thing is that she was in Beauty and the Beast (2017) as the feather duster. She looks really beautiful in period costumes. Anyhow, I am so happy for her, that she is an Apple show where she is the leading lady. I love looking at fancasts of her as Disney's Belle.
