Finished binge-rewatching this series last night.  Season 1 was really beautiful.  The music, the cinematography, the casting, the science.  Season 2 is satisfying because Mariah gets her comeuppance.

It's too bad this show was cancelled.  The second season ends with a massive cliffhanger.  I would have loved to see Luke as the King/Sheriff of Harlem.  Season 2 is less potent than season 1, and more graphically violent.

People are scared. But they can’t be paralyzed by that fear. You have to fight for what’s right every single day, bulletproof skin or not. You can’t just not snitch, or turn away, or take money under the table because life has turn you sour. When did people stop caring?
