Gugu’s talent was completely put to waste in the BatB 2017 remake. It’s really such a shame because I know she would have given Belle the respect that she deserves.

the light in her eyes.... belle loved life, she got so excited about things :) not just about books...and emma watson looked like she was half-asleep through the whole thing...and the autotune made it worse somehow.

sadly disney, like other companies, is motivated by money. if Gugu was Belle, I doubt it would have made Disney as much money. a lot of the people who bought tickets wanted to see Hermione grow up and play a Disney Princess.

She's just so beautiful on screen and she can wear the SHIT out of 18th century costumes.

I agree - Belle is such a passionate and expressive person. It’s amazing how an animated character was able to show more emotion and excitement than their live action counterpart did.

Yeah sadly, Disney was more interested in making quick money and less interested in making a genuinely good film. :(
