Finished rereading Sharp Objects with the Libby app ebook last night.
This
book - and the
miniseries - are dark and nasty and twisted and gross and disturbing
But there is something so compelling about the book and the show. It is fast-paced, unlike Gone Girl.
Probably the best and most intoxicating dysfunctional family story I have ever read.
"a spiral notebook with a unicorn on the front"
I have a lot of those XD
Intertext to Little House on the Prairie :)
I have not been able to find this poem.
Except the quote by Gillian Flynn.
This is really important. This is something the tv minisieres couldn't do. List everything Adora had for her
MBP.
Anyhow I do like this show because it prominently features a female reporter.
I have been feeling mentally fragile lately. Lots of changes in my life. My class is ending, ei is ending on September 19th (I think), Monsters at Work has ended for now on disney plus, and I've started drinking Starbucks tea without reusing the tea bags. Also celebrating
salukfan's life this Sunday for
littlemermaid's and I's watchparty.
I've been thinking about her a lot lately.
