Had Macdonald's for lunch haha. Gave the gift card Aunt Alice gifted for my birthday to dad. It didn't really make sense to hang onto it until August 2nd (mom and dad's anniversary), because Dad goes there everyday.
Have been watching The Emperor's New School on Disney Plus.
It's not really bad, but repetitive. Yzma turns Kuzko into various animals, it backfires, and then the spell wears off. That is the basic formula.
I'm confused about the timeline. I thought this was a prequel series to The Emperor's New Groove. i.e. it is what happened before TENG, where Kuzko went to school to learn skills to become the emperor. But it ends with Kuzko making Kronk his executive assistant, and Yzma Kronk's assistant. Also Chicha's family is post-TENG. So I am confused because you'd think that after TENG, when Yzma turned Kuzko into a llama and then tried to kill him, she would have been fired. The series ends with Kuzko graduating and becoming the emperor, so it does seem like a prequel series, but then why is Kronk Kuzko's assistant? And why does Chicha has the number of kids she has post-TENG? (At the beginning of TENG she was pregnant).
I do get that this is a kids tv show and it's not really supposed to be analyzed, but it's just...the timeline doesn't make sense.
Because it sounds like Kuzko needs to go to school and graduate before he becomes emperor (so pre-TENG), but Pacha and Chicha's family are as they are at the end of TENG, and Yzma is not given the job she has at the beginning of TENG.
It's just really bugging me for some reason.
