great hair - yes, her hair is described as being as soft and lovely as a "shetland pony" at the end of the book mortal enemy - lavinia to die for shoes - it is implied, remember "such little feet!" talking pet - Melchisadec, the rat. and the Monkey. Sarah understand animals, so they do "talk" to her. great outfit that appears out of nowhere - at the end of the book the Indian Gentleman has clothes sent to Sara before he can get her out of Miss Minchin's magical accessories - the locket in the 1995 movie
the others, regrettably Sara doesn't have - magical powers, a love interest, and a cute yet powerful weapon
