Burningman in so few days. Must fuss stuff. I'm Camp Nazi this year for Orbitals. Ha! The Jew is Camp Nazi? tee hee. Sometimes I just go with the title of Designated Control Freak instead. But who cares about titles, I'll just do the work. Nevertheless, I'm crossing my fingers for an early arrival pass and will organize and set up Orbitals, the Hamthrax Lounge and camp generator. It will be fun. I think. :)
I've been seeing two people recently and it's been quite a good time. They are very different sorts of people and the variety is nice. I'm still single though. I love sleeping alone in my comfy comfy bed, making meals for myself especially. I reached peace with being living Alone and Single about 6 weeks ago. I'm no longer sad to come home to a people-less house or lonely when here. I have fallen in love with cooking for myself. If you had asked me 8 months ago weather I liked cooking for one person I would have said No Way! But now, I look at it like a special treat that I'm doing for myself. A gift even. Hell, I deserve it. It is nourishment for my body, why can't it be the same for my spirit? I love gifting myself things like that.
I've been taking Layla to the dog beach in Cayucos at least once a week, sometimes twice. I take her to the lake if I can't find the time to dedicate to the beach. She's got to be completely fine with other dogs and it's wonderful. She has such a good time at the beach. As do I. I've gone a couple of times wiht a friend who has a 14 month old doberman. It's funny when Layla and the dobe trot to greet another dog and watch the other dog's people stiffen a bit. Oh, common people! It's just an 80 lb doberman and a 58 lb pit mix trotting towards you, why do you stiffen? hehehehe. They relax quickly when they see that all is fine. I would never bring an unleashed god aggressive dog to the beach! Jeeze. But I guess people are dumb.
Oh, and I saw four shooting stars on Layla and I's walk tonight.
