Fleas in the Yard
Hello Fellow dog lovers!
I've moved into a new place and it has a grassy back yard. This is wonderful news for my pup, and she even has a dog friend who shares the yard! Alas, the yard is heavily infested with fleas. Both dogs are treated with Frontline, though I now have to treat Layla every three weeks instead of every six weeks in our old cement yard.
Because I don't like dosing her more than necessary, do you have a favorite flea product that is used to kill the fleas in the yard? The other dog is a construction site dog, so she picks them up all the time and brings them home to our yard. The nearest park that I walk layla in also has a lot of fleas and tics in it. Is there any way I can alleviate this problem?
