Drama Free

Such that it doesn't seem that my life is only drama filled I'm gonna post some random stuff.

1) A hummingbird flew into my house this morning. I get lots of skeeter eaters in here allthe time, but this was a hummer- much louder than a skeeter eater. Thankfully for the both of us, it got stuck in my blinds and I was able to grab it and toss it outside pretty fast. It was a type of hummingbird I've never seen before. Usually I see lots of Anna's Hummingbirds, the ones that have red thoat. This one was orange on its chest with some yellow. A firey orange! Quite pretty. I'm gonna have to go to the bookstore and ifnd out what it was. I keep a master list of animals I've seen in the wild and I love to check off new ones. :)

2) Went dancing at Native's new gay night, every Sunday. And there is a drag show the first Sunday of the month, too! It was like Tortilla Flats but much better. Classier and more grown-up. A lot of fun!

3) Did I mention I love my new house? So far, I haven't had time to put anythign away but that is the next step. My dog absolutely loves the new place. She has a grassy yard to lay around in and a year old lab thats here part time to play with. She and Lexi, the lab, play and play and play! I''ve seen her play more in these last few weeks than I've ever seen her play! She seems really happy and content. This makes me happy as well. Horray! Not to mention the friendly old lady that lives next door, Loretta. She is so sweet and talkative. And she has a buffount, or however you spell it. Big hair! So awesome.

4) I'm heading down to San Diego for Passover this weekend. My mother just picked up her puppy yesterday! New puppy fun!! And I will finally get to meet her two new kittens and her four new chickens. Yes, I get my pet this from her. She has two *huge* koi ponds, four cats, four chickens, two tourtoses, a lizard and a dog. She calls her house the Mild Animals Park. :)

And now, life is going better. horray!
