So we went to see this show last night in the Annex Theatre (it's just a smaller and more intimate playing space than the main stage). The play was called "Normal" and it was about a serial killer. Before it began, the 3 actors from the play were walking around in the audience. i heard my name, looked, saw no one i knew, and turned back to my friends. i heard my name again and turned to see one of the actors holding his hand out to me. "hi, i'm George." "i'm casey". "i know." and i gave him a strange look. He then told me that he helped with auditioning on Amadeus, and he remembered me. He also said that he's seen me audition 3 times during generals, and he's enjoyed it every time. Wow. really. This grad student has actually remembered me from generals (where almost the entire school of theatre auditions), i was in shock. He made my college existence worth while.
Nick and i went to another audition yesterday as well. It was for some student written plays. We find out how we did today.
