Too Much Fun
She sighted, she didn’t even know what she was doing here, after all, she had work to catch up on. Alas, something drove her to attend. There she stood, in the middle of the ministry, it was ten at night. Harry and Ginny were still on their honeymoon and her very nasty break up with Ron had not been long ago therefore the Burrow didn’t sound appealing. Sighing yet again she made her way to the refreshment table and took a cup of eggnog.
Scanning through the crowd, she saw many familiar faces, the people she had worked with for years now. Shifting uncomfortably, she straightened her knee-length, dark green cocktail dress. Her unruly hair was pulled back in a messy bun and her eyes rimmed with black liner.
“Granger,” Draco drawled from behind her.
She turned to face him. “I told you to stop calling me that, we work togeather now.”
“Old habits die hard,” he said and shrugged.
She tried to quell the rapid beating of her heart as his grey eyes sparkled with mischief. Her little crush, however, was a lost cause; she knew it as she watched him walk over to the black hair beauty and slid an arm around his waist. Oh yes, Draco Malfoy was gay, and with none other that Blaise Zabini, the two most gorgeous guys she had ever known taunting her with fantasies of the two in bed togeather.
In an attempt to drown the fluttering in her stomach she drained the cup in her hand and refilled it, preparing herself for a long night.

Draco chuckled to himself as he watched her. She really could put away that eggnog, too bad Blaise had thought it would be funny to spike it then cover the smell and taste with a spell; the poor girl would be drunk out of her mind within the hour. Not that he had a problem with that, no; in fact, he had plans for her tonight.

Her head buzzed pleasantly and she felt as though the world was perfect. How could it not be, after all here she was talking to both of her crushes and felt completely at ease.
“You look great tonight,” Blaise said, motioning towards her, “that dress is gorgeous.”
She couldn’t help but smile like an idiot. “And you don’t look bad yourself, handsome.”
Draco tried to cover up his laugh, he really did but it was too much. Hermione was so obviously drunk and spitting out bad lines like a desperate guy in a bar. She looked up at him and began to laugh as well, although he wasn’t quite sure what she was laughing at. Blaise raised a questioning brow and his lips twitched up into a smile.
Before she even stopped laughing she had begun to wander away aimlessly. Taking advantage of their first moment alone that night, Blaise tugged Draco aside, out of everyone’s view, and pulled him tight against him. Draco only smiled and closed his eyes and Blaise’s lips crashed down on him, tongue invading his mouth and exploring every corner.
When they broke apart, Blaise didn’t waste a second before attaching himself to Draco’s neck. A soft gasp brought Draco’s attention to the doorway. Hermione stood watching, mouth hanging open.
“Wow,” she slurred, “that was hot.” Seeming to realize what she had said, her eyes grew wide and she clamped her hands over her mouth before scurrying away.
Draco chuckled and whispered, “I think we scared her away.”
“No love, I think she scared herself away.”

“You’re kidding me,” Draco said as he stared Blaise hard in the eyes. “It’s not even midnight yet.”
“Yes well, did you see how much more of that stuff she drank, you’d think she’d have had the whole bowl of it? She needs help.” Pulling him by the arm, Blaise took him to the main room. He didn’t need to look for her; he knew right where she’d been, in the middle of that huge knot of people.
“Wait right here for me, I could need your help.” Draco pushed his ways through the crowd, muttering apologies as he went. He couldn’t help but groan when he reached the center. Hermione was half on top of some man he’d never seen before and dancing with him, if you could call it that.
Rolling his eyes he stepped forward. “Excuse me,” he said politely but forcefully, “I’m afraid I’m going to have to steal the lady from you.” Reaching out, he took Hermione’s arm and quickly maneuvered her out of the crowd. He pulled her to the back wall and turned her to face him.
She looked up at him, her hair falling out of its bun and cheeks flushed from dancing, it took everything he had to not kiss her right then. Suddenly he was glad he didn’t for she lurched forward, covering her hand with her mouth. Her face had become a sickly green and she shook slightly.
“Shit,” he murmured and braced her back with one of his hands. “Come on Hermione, bathroom now.” She didn’t fight him as he led her into the women’s room and into a stall.
He rubbed her back soothingly as she emptied her stomach of the vast amount of eggnog. When she finished as sat back against his chest he handed her a glass of water Blaise had brought in.
“You must not hold your alcohol very well,” Blaise commented.
She shot him a glare and said, “it was eggnog, it wasn’t supposed to have any alcohol in it.”
“Yes well, Blaise thought otherwise.”
With a small groan she turned to bury her face in his chest. “What did I do? I tend to act…foolish when I drink.”
Blaise snickered and Draco bit his lip. He knew Hermione had put on quite a show with that man on the dance floor and no one would let her live it down, plus there was the comment when she had caught him and Blaise. No, he figured now was not the right time to tell her, instead he helped her stand.
“I better go home, it-it’s late,” her voice slurred slightly and she staggered, Blaise deftly catching her as she began to plunge to the floor.
“Why don’t you just let us take care of you,” Blaise said and pulled her closer against him. Another warm body pressed against her back and she heard a loud crack just before they apperated away.
She found herself standing in the middle of a comfortable little living room. Blaise was shedding his dress robes, muscles rippling under his thin white shirt. Fire shot through her and she was at his side, running her hands lightly down his back.
Draco stepped up and placed a hand on her shoulder, confused at her actions when she whipped around and flung her arms around his neck. Then she was kissing him, frantically as if trying to devour him.
“Blaise,” he murmured when she had moved to nipping at his neck. “Did you put anything else in the eggnog?”
The dark haired man only grinned and shrugged his shoulders. “My hand might have slipped with the lust potion.”
