Hi! Remember my music list? I've got another one for you :)
Bit more than 50 artists in a little list (with my opinion, three best songs and a song to download)
Please do take a look, and tell me what you think cause I spent a lot of time on this since my computer is going sooo slooow.
So if you like or don't like anyone, please tell me. Recommendations are always welcome too :) Just, let's talk about music :) (excited for any new releases? what was your favourite album of 2008? and has 2009 surprised you yet? who are you obsessed with atm? etc)

1= Not good
2= Not more than okay
3= More than okay
4= Good
5= Really good
(anyone in this list is good in some way or they wouldn't be in the list, that's why I tend to give a lot of 2 and 3's)

# = Only some songs are good
* = Only good for certain moods

!! Remember, this is just my opinion.
And please don't feel offended if I say something negative about someone you like. Feel free to disagree with me :)
(also please tell me if I made a mistake with a link)

Amy Kuney (2-3)
So help me God, Sore Loser, Breaking bad habits
When I first saw her picture I thought I wouldn't like her but hm, her voice has a surprising power sometimes.
Breaking bad habits

Anna Järvinen (2/#)
Gotgänen, Onnenpäivänen, Koltrast
Downloaded this cause I was looking for music in another language and I wouldn't like this if it wasn't for the strange swedish words
Gotgänen

Bosque Brown (2)
Train song, White love, This Town
All her songs sound a bit unoriginal but it's got a nice lazy mood
Train Song

Breathe owl breathe (4)
Toboggan, Run off, Kids+Cats
Their music is nature. I don't know what else to say, it sounds so wonderfully free.
Kids+Cats

Britta Persson (3/#)
A Dad for you, The past is not real, Stockholm-Amsterdam
Her voice wouldn't work with anything except with the mysteriousness of some of her songs, and that fits pretty well.
The past is not real

Cass Fox (3-4/#)
Come here, Save me, Daddy dear
Don't know what it is about some songs, probably the perfect combination of the feel good melodies and her sophisticated voice.
Daddy dear

Chat (3/*)
Alice, Petit Con, It's so cold
"Alice" made me reconsider my opinion on french music, and her songs are magical, like a musicbox.
Alice

Coeur de pirate (3-4/*)
Comme des enfants, C'était salement romantique, Printemps
Same as Chat, but her magic is just a bit sunnier.
Comme des enfants

Emiliana Torrini (3-4)
Today has been Ok, Jungle Drum, Serenade
Fell in love with her voice when I heard 'Gollum's song' which is the best song of the entire Lord of the rings soundtrack imo. The songs that I like of her are soft like summer rain
Today has been ok

Erin Mccarley (2)
Love save the empty, Pony (it's Ok), Pitter-Pat
Yes her voice is very typical but some songs are so catchy!
Love, save the empty

Explosions in the sky (3)
Remember me as a time of day, First breath after coma, Your hand in mine
Got to know this thanks to Elies, and their music is very soothing, the way it repeats and grows and sometimes 'explodes'
Remember me as a time of day

Faith hill (3/*)
Free, If you're gonna fly away, One
I'm embarrassed she's in this list but I like her sorry, even if her lyrics are stupid and her voice is cliché. I've liked her for a long time and so she makes me feel like I'm 10 years old again.
The way you love me

Heidi Happy (2)
I think I'm in love, Fool, You and your moods
Today I can't decide if I like her voice or not. Listen and decide yourself maybe.
I think I'm in love

The Honey Trees (3)
Love&Loss, Don't fear, Orchard
Wow they sound just like Eisley. Which is kind of a good thing, no?
Love&Loss

Isobel Heyworth (2)
Best dress on (remix), By Hook or By Crook, God knows why
Her voice is too "pretty" in most songs but oh, best dress on remix is such a lovely song
Best dress on remix

Jenn Grant (5)
Dreamer, Heartbreaker, Everybody loves you
Oh Jenn!! Everyone should listen to her and love her because she is amazing. Her lyrics are very simple and her voice is stunning.
Dreamer

Joanne Robertson (2)
Gardener, Silver, Tap
I'll probably start liking this more after I've listened to it some more. Sounds like the kind of thing I like to listen to on hot days when I want to disappear
Silver

Johnny Flynn (4)
Cold bread, All the dogs are lying down, Hong kong cemetery
I think he sounds like he's really singing to you, like he knows you. But the reason I love this is because of the beautiful folk mood ♥
Cold Bread

Julie Doiron (2-3)
The life of dream, Consolation prize, Glad to be alive
More lovely folk music, it's cool how some songs are so softly happy too.
The life of dream

Julie Sokolow (2)
Your wrists, Violins, End March
All her songs sound the same, but all with a nice home made feel.
End March

Kesang Marstrand (3)
Say say say, Tibet will be free, The Choir sighed
Nothing impressive but lovely background music
Say say say

Laura Hocking (4)
Strongmen & Acrobats, Ending Elinor, Oh la lolita
Better version of Jose Vanders, her voice is quite 'sweet' but still her songs sound strong to me
Oh la lolita

Lauren Hoffman (3/#)
Another song about the darkness, Broken, Solipsist
First thing I heard her sing was 'So you don't fit in, thank God' and I loved that. Love her voice so careful sometimes and at the same time dramatic.
Another song about the darkness

Lily Allen (3-4/*)
Kabul Shit, Nan you're a window shopper, I could say
Probably shouldn't be in this list but oh no I don't even feel guilty about liking this anymore. Everyone's allowed some music like this no?
Kabul Shit

Lisa Ekdahl (2-3/#)
Nasta dag, Papillas Samba, Med Kroppen Mot Jorden
More swedish music because ah the language is wonderful.
Nasta Dag

Lisa Hannigan (2-3)
I don't know, Keep it all, Lille
Can't really say much about this cause I haven't listened to this a lot. I do like 'I don't know' a lot, but I've got a feeling the rest is gonna be a disappointment
I don't know

Lonely Drifter Karen (3-4)
The Owl moans Low, True Desire, Cassablanca
Why does she remind me of Stargirl? Anyways, I should listen to this some more cause I always forget about her but it's quite marvelous actually (scenery & sounds)
The owl moans low

Lotte Kestner (2)
Leif Erikson, Lula Boat, Cattleya
All her music sounds like it's underwater which is nice but not for too long
Leif Erikson

Madeline (3-4/#)
Belly of the beast, A different place, Lit Elephants
Sometimes her voice is so smooth and sometimes so wrong, I think softness suits her.
Belly of the beast

Maria Solheim (2)
Kissing, Too many Days, Restless days
She sounds so young and her music kind of sounds like puberty, if that's possible.
Too many days

Meiko (2-3)
You and onions, Boys with girlfriends, Real real sweet
First I didn't like her, now I do. Why? Oh it's probably the voice. It's always about the voice isn't it?
You and onions

Melanie Horsnell (2)
Sometimes, But you!, When I'm in your room
She reminds me of radio voices so why do I still have her music. Have no idea.
Sometimes

Mirah (2-3)
Recommendation, Generosity, Bones&skin
She sound like a lot of artists or a lot of artists sound like her, but that's probably why she's easy to like.
Generosity

Molly Marlette (2)
Constantly, Over reaction, Sleep must heal the heart
Oh she should be more indie and I'd like her a lot more. For now, she's a bit too...yes, normal.
Sleep must heal the heart

Neko Case (2-3)
Hold on hold on, Margaret vs Pauline, The needle has landed
She sounds like a mother to me, which isn't a bad thing. Another strong voice but I'm not crazy about her songs.
Hold on, hold on

Noah and the whale (4)
Give a little love, 2 atoms in a molecule, 5 years time
So much fun! His fantastic voice with Laura Marling in the background, that's good yes :)
Give a little love

Oonagh Ryder (2-3)
Cold days, Never crossed my mind, Low tide
She's kind of like Molly but a bit more indie perhaps, still don't think her music can be much more than background music, even though it's quite nice.
Cold days

Pearl and the puppets (4/#)
Because I do
Okay so I only have one song of her but I love it so much ♥ (I want more music of her)
Because I do

Rachel Goodrich (2-3/*)
Little Brass Bear, Excuses excuses, Terminal song
Her music is a joke. What I mean is that it's so very different from my usual emotional music, there's nothing serious about her songs it feels, and that's good sometimes.
Little Brass bear

Rachel Lipson (2-3)
A season and a day, We'll be home soon, Tom says
A bit Kimya Dawson-ish which is nice cause for me there can't be enough simple storytelling songs with just an honest voice and guitar.
We'll be home soon

Roosbeef (3/*)
Volle Magen, Te Heet gewassen, Onder invloed
Wouldn't like this if it wasn't in dutch. But as it is, I need this kind of music when I'm annoyed.
Volle Magen

Sara Melson (3-4/#)
Anywhere anytime, Turquoise sky, Hard pressed
Some songs suck, but in some songs, wow, her voice is perfect for summer.
Turquoise sky

Simone white (4-5)
We used to stand so tall, The Beep Beep song, Roses are not red
Exactly my kind of music :) Great voice, poetic lyrics and very comforting music.
We used to stand so tall

Soap&skin (2-3/*)
Marche Funèbre, The sun, Mr. Gaunt pt 1000
Strange, dark music. Sometimes that's perfect, but often it's a bit too heavy for me.
Marche Funèbre

Soko (2-3/#)
I will never love you more, I wanna look like a tiger
I only like those two songs but they're quite lovely with her adorable french accent
I wanna look like a tiger

Spinvis (5)
Aan de oevers van de tijd, Ik wil alleen maar zwemmen, Het voordeel van video
Best dutch music and also best male artist of this list :) The best thing about his music is the fact that the lyrics are so brilliant.
Mare Frigoris

Wallis Bird (2-3)
Bring me wine, Moodsets, Slow down
It's funny how her voice is pretty strong but most of the time when her music's on I don't even notice it.
Bring me wine

Yeah yeah yeahs (4)
Heads will roll, Hysteric, Runaway
Their new album is awesome, specially when you're trying to fight a bad mood away.
Runaway

So that's it :)
(Probably still forgot some and I think I might have put some in here that used to be in the longer list but whatever.)
