Day one at GreenDoor was great.
Some of you know that I entered a psychiatric/vocational day program.
It was wonderful!
First off, I went to a policy meeting and took minutes, After that I had orientation. Then I taught a lady to use E-Mail. After that was a great presentation of Black accomplishments and a performance. Then we lined up to buy lunch tickets for a dollar and we ate ribs, greens, mac and cheese and apple pie. Afterwards I just chilled out then at 2pm, I joined a bellydancing class. After that, I went home to defrost food for Jason. I met the Young peoples group to eat out at an indian restaurant for free. We had samosas and naan. I ate a lamb curry. Then me and my new buddy, Javier walked from the restaurant in Addams Morgan, back to Shaw, crossing 3 neighborhoods on the way. Kalorama, Dupont and Logan.
I look forward to more.
