Reminder for da locals
Sherman Alexie will be reading this coming Wednesday, April 18th, at 8:00 pm at the John Waldron Arts Center. Free, and supposedly there's a reception but who knows for sure.
I'll be the starstruck kid in the second or third row, clutching a chapbook I hope I can get him to sign.
No idea whether he's going to read poetry or fiction or what. Probably he'll read from his new novel that just came out. He could read his grocery list, far as I'm concerned. I really, really love his work.
