Crochet, Mother's Day and my Shoulder....

Apr 08, 2008 12:58

Argh!!! I am trying desperately to get my crochet blanket done for my mother by Mother's day. I already scheduled an extra week, because I'm a dumbass and didn't look at the calendar. I'm well into my week two goals, however, I do have a slight problem.... I didn't count my rows. I'm... well... stupid.

So, I don't know how to count my rows that are done so I know how much I need to do becacuse the rows sort of meld together in my eyes... I also need to find more yarn, and I hope to god they still make those colors... I didn't realize it would take so much yarn! Stupid first project and me not knowing what it involves.

On top of that, my right shoulder is sore all the time now, because I've been crocheting my ass off. Also, my fingers on my left hand aren't doing that great either. I guess this is how we learn. I've only been working on this project for a year and a half, and now I'm expecting it done in a month and  half. Bleh.... I told my mother, I don't care what it looks like, she's going to take it and she's going to like it forever. :)

I feel like such a four year old sometimes. :P

ETA: I think I figured out the rows thing....mostly, mabye. I think so.....
