Holy, crap. I had 3 things to complete by Feb. 1st for DePauw:
1) Holton Scholarship - Write an essay and include a resume
2) ITAP - a technology "program of distinction" that, if I get accepted and pass an interview, will pay me $$ to work on projects as a collegiate. I had to write an essay and fill out a foreverlong application about my knowledge of, well, technology.
3) Media Fellows - another program of distinction that, if I get accepted and pass an interview, will provide me with a more hands-on approach to, well, different forms of media. Cool for my major which, as of now, I am declaring as "Communications; Advertising/Marketing."
Last night I submitted all things ITAP.
Tonight, around 9:30 PM I submitted the Holton Scholarship
At 10:57 (11:57 Indiana time) I submitted my Media Fellows essay.
I finished it with 3 minutes to spare. Again, holy, crap. In my final minutes of typing and proofing, I experienced shortness of breath, an excruciating headache, and a small desire to fall asleep and never wake up. Just after I submitted it I discovered that I had 3% battery life left before my laptop died. I could have lost everything. Praise the Lord.
Tomorrow I have a psychology test about stress and how to manage it. I am going to fail. Stress management is something I will probably never learn.
