GI Appt
I emailed my dr last night.. after I threw up again...... this time an empty stomach I think it was? Doesn't seem to matter lately -- empty, having eaten... and sometimes I have this dry-feeling patch on the back of my throat that drinking doesn't always clear up and I end up throwing up.
I can't quite tell if it's sinuses and drainage because there's been some of that, but I don't think that's it.
When I was at the dr last October or so, he called in a Nexium RX which Randy didn't pick up because of the cost.. and he's right, not only was it ludicrously expensive but I've tried Nexium in the past and it didn't work for me. Aciphex was the one that ended up working back then.
So it's been growing steadily worse. Last month, he swapped out my blood pressure med: 1) I was getting a lot of swelling in my feet and legs, and he thought that might be related, and 2) he thought it might be affecting my stomach.
So the new med has made the swelling better -- no more elephant feet by the end of the day, but my stomach has been on a worsening trend, and I'm throwing up most days and it's waking me up at night.
So, he's doing a referral to a GI doc and sending in an RX in the meantime for nausea and vomiting.
