Minho POV
“Yes I found him! Come fast! Bye for now.”
My heart skipped a beat after hearing Jonghyun say that through the phone. Taemin. Thank god he’s ok. I gotta get to him. Fast. I started to run fast. Out those gymnasium doors and into the dark night that awaited me outside. I could hear Onew hyung yelling at me to slow down but now I can’t.
“Minho slow down! Where are you going?”
“I’m sorry hyung! I need to go to him. It’s my chance to make things right.”
Just like that I kept running. I ran across the streets, Through the many cars passing down the street, because I want to be where you are right now. Just to hold you and say “I’m sorry” to you as many times as it takes for you to forgive me. To whisper “I love you” enough so maybe you’ll respond to me. Just don’t run away. Please just find it in your heart to forgive me. It wasn’t long before I was outside the shops and then I saw Taemin just standing in the lowlight. I’m here.
Taemin POV
“TAEMIN!”
No. It can’t be him. Not now. Minho, why? He called out my name and he was running this way. I could feel myself breaking out into cold sweat. I was turning pale. What should I do? He came close and touched my arm but I instantly pulled away.
“Taemin… I-“
“Not now… please…”
“I feel bad about everything. I just wanted to see you right now and say it. I want to apologize for everything.”
“Minho…”
I looked down at the ground to hide my puffy face. I can’t look him in the face. I don’t know what to do. I feel lost. It’s dark and I’m tired and confused. I wish I could just pass out or something right now. I can’t run from this but it’d be nice just to think for a while.”
“I promise I’ll make it up to you.”
“I-I’m not coming home today.”
“But Minnie!”
“If you love me then just leave me alone for now.”
“Taemin…”
“I really just need some time to think ok? I’m Leaving now. Jonghyun hyung, Tell everyone else that I’m really sorry.”
“Fine. If that’s what it takes then I let you be. Think everything over. Just remember, I’ll always be waiting for you.”
I looked back before walking off, Sungjong following. He stared at me with concern and was probably wondering what happened between me and Minho. He’s been so nice so far So I might as well tell him what happened between us. We were inside the infinite dorm in seconds and everyone came to the door.
“I’m back everyone!!! And I brought a guest whose staying with us so please be nice!”
Suengyeol and Woohyun hyung came to the door and sungjong went to the kitchen to put the groceries away.
“Woah! It’s Taemin! We haven’t seen you in a while! Whatsup?” Woohyun hyung said to me.
“Your face is all puffy too! Did something happen? You can tell us what happened during dinner! Come Join us!”
Sungyeol told me before dragging me to the table where Dongwoo, Sunggyu, and Hoya were sitting. They all asked me what was going on and why I was so quiet. Then the doorbell rang and Junhyung and Hyungseng hyung came barging through the doors.
“HELLO EVERYONE! We’ve finally arrived! I hope- wait! Taemin Is that you?! I didn’t know you’d be here! Are you guys keeping secrets from us?”
Junghyung hyung said smirking and greeting everyone with Hyungseng hyung following behind in an awkward stance. Sunggyu hyung gave them hugs and then they sat down at the large table filled with delicious smelling food that Myungsoo hyung and Sungjong brought out from the kitchen. They hung up their aprons and passed out the plates finally sitting down.
“I’m sorry If I caused any trouble for any of you… especially sungjong.”
“NONSENSE” They all said in unison Sunggyu hyung started speaking.
“We love having you here! And if you don’t wanna tell us what happened then that’s fine!”
“You want me to tell you what happened ?I think I’m ready to talk about it”
“Sure! But only because you said you were ready!” Sungjong said cheerfully.
“Well this afternoon when I was in the lunchroom, and certain person whose always been hanging around me decided to put his hands on me. I didn’t really know what to do but then in a flash he left and Minho saw everything and thinks there’s something going on between me and that guy. So he started to yell at me and said stupid things to me.
“Oh hyung… I’m sorry that had to happen to you! Minho was probably just….”
“Just what?”
“He was Jealous! He’s probably never been jealous before so he didn’t know how to handle it.”
The others nodded and Hyungseng looked at me in surprise.
“Omo! Taemin! What happened to your arm?”
Everyone gasped and suddenly all eyes were on me who was holding the red part on my arm where Minho grabbed before.
“Minho sort of…. Yanked… it…”
“How could this happen? You guys never ever fight! Oh Taemin… Come, I’ll bandage it for you.” Hyungseng hyung offered.
We finished eating and put away all our dishes. Hyungseng bandaged up my arm with supplies form the closet and everyone sat down under one large blanket in front of the TV. We turned off the lights and Junhyung popped in a recent horror movie into the DVD player.
“We will watch this horror movie I picked out PERSONALLY! Don’t fall asleep until the end of the movie or I’ll prank you! It’ll make you forget everything that’s happened today young ones!”
And the night continued with Screams, Pranks, and more all courtesy of Junhyun and Dongwoo hyung.
Minho POV
It was night now. The atmosphere was cold and dark inside my room. Our room. The one that I was in alone. But I deserve it. If this is what it takes to get him to forgive me then I’ll just have to put up with it. It was now 1 in the morning and Jonghyun hyung was with Key in their shared room. When we came home it wasn’t good. Key was furious and sad after hearing Taemin wasn’t coming home tonight but I know he understood that Minnie just wanted to be alone for now. He was more mad at me. He smacked me in the arm for making Taemin cry and then run away. But then he gave me a hug because he was glad I came home.
Onew hyung walked Luna back to her dorm and was silent the rest of the night. It was spring now but the room felt chilly. For the first time in a long time, There wasn’t someone in my arms. For the first time in a long time the bed across from mine was empty. It’s only been a day and I miss him. It was late but I stayed awake thinking to myself for a long time as my insomnia continued and the night grew old. Then the Sun rose and I didn’t sleep the whole night.
3rd Person POV
Morning rose as the darkness died out. The sunlight flooded the inside of the Infinite dorm. All ten boys laid there on the couch and floor asleep and then they awoke to the sound of the alarm clock ringing like crazy. Sungjong went into the bathroom and let out a large scream after noticing scribbles on his face from a black sharpie marker.
“JUNHYUNG! DONGWOO!”
“OH SHIT! HAHAHA YOU LOOK REDICULOUS SUNGJONG”
“I DON’T CARE IF YOU’RE MY HYUNGS. WAIT TILL I GET OVER THERE AND KICK YOUR ASS.”
Everyone started laughing at Sungjong’s marker stained face and Taemin watched him smack Dongwoo and Junhyung with a rolled up magazine. Sunggyu scolded them and told them to go get dressed since everyone else was already dressed including Taemin. Sungjong came out of the bathroom with his face cleaned off. And Dongwoo came out with his backpack, keeping his distance from a still furious sungjong. Taemin giggled a little and then all ten boys left and went straight for school. He felt better about everything that had happened yesterday. His only worry now was how he was going to face Minho.
He honestly was a bit sad inside. He started to miss Minho. He couldn’t hide from Minho forever, especially since part of his heart died a bit when Minho looked regretful about what he did yesterday. He arrived outside the Highschool building and was greeted with a huge hug from someone unexpected.
“LEE TAEMIN YOU MADE ME WORRY SO MUCH. ARE YOU OK?!”
Key instantly clung to Taemin and made sure he was ok. He was glad Taemin was fine even though he felt half dead on the inside but was still happy thanks to his friends.
“Thank you all so much for watching Taeminnie! I hope we didn’t cause you all too much trouble!”
“It was no trouble at all! We enjoy having him over! He can come over whenever he likes! Taemin I hope everything fixes between you and Minho today!”
All of the Infinite members hugged Taemin and so did Junhyung and Hyungseng. Junghyun patted him on the shoulder and wished him good luck and Sungjong waved goodbye before they split for class.
Key got Jonghyun and asked Taemin if he’d be alright and then they split separate ways after Key gave him one last hug before splitting. Taemin didn’t see Minho anywhere the first 4 periods of the day. It was time for study hall and Taemin was getting worried. He wanted to see Minho again. He didn’t care about what happened before because that’s done with. He nervously pulled out his phone. He pondered the question “Should I text him?” but the crazy part of him decided to text him and tell him. His message said “Come to the piano room next period.” Taemin went to the piano room he played a few songs and he waited for Minho to show up. He kept on playing but Minho didn’t show up after so long. Taemin started to get a bit scared and then an evil thought hit him. “What if he hates me now?” He started to play “Winter sleep” to get his mind off things. He started to sing the lyrics to the pretty song.
“Will You hold me now? Hold me now? “
A Tear fell from his eye and he continued to sing because that’s all he could do.
“My frozen heart… I’m gazing from the distance and I feel everything Pass through me”
More tears fell as he continued to sing the final part of the song.
“I can’t seem to find my way out, alone. Get here… Wake me.”
And then He felt arms wrap around him and he knew it was Minho.
Minho POV
I woke up and it was 6th period and it was the middle of biology class. Wait, where’s Taemin? I checked my phone and I got a text. It’s from Minnie! I read the text telling me to meet him in the piano room. SHIT! THAT WAS 2 HOURS AGO! I Told the teacher I was leaving early, collected my things and Made a dash for the Piano room. I looked and saw a horrible sight. Taemin was sobbing on the piano infront of him. I ran over to him and held him in my arms.
“Don’t cry now. I’m right here and I’m not going anywhere.”
“I-I thought you didn’t come because you didn’t like me anymore…”
“Dumby, didn’t I say I’d be waiting for you?”
“It’s all my fault…”
“Stop apologizing for things you don’t have to apologize for. If anyone’s to blame here it’s me. I knew I could’ve just told you how I felt but instead I hurt you. I said some stupid things and I can’t forgive myself for grabbing your arm so hard it turned red. I’m so sorry.”
3rd Person POV
Minho cradled Taemin in his arms for a while, letting his tears wet Minho’s shirt. Then Taemin raised his head and the two shared a kiss. They kept kissing; each kiss became deeper and rougher. Their tongues intertwining, hands roaming each other’s bodies. Taemin sat on Minho’s lap facing him. Arms hung around his neck and face flushed. Minho decided it was time for some time for them to have fun so he grabbed both their bags and picked up Taemin. He walked right out that school door, Taemin in his arms and they headed home early.
“Did you take a shower yesterday?”
“No. Why? Do I smell bad?”
“Not really but still you should take one.”
Taemin knew what that meant and Minho gave him a smirk before dropping their bags to the ground. He lifted Taemin and brought him to the bathroom and locked the door behind him with a click.
