Город Монреаль часто приглашают играть в кино. Статный, красивый архитектурно и симпатичный горожанами. Колоритный и фото- видеогеничный. Ну чем не звезда?
Например, зимнюю Москву в финчеровском "Загадочная история Бенджамина Баттона" блестяще сыграл именно Монреаль. 90% сцен в фильме "Послезавтра" Роланда Эммериха было отснято в Монреале. В том числе эпическая сцена в порту.
А в "Терминале" Спилберга роль нью-йоркского JFK играет монреальский аэропорт Мирабель.

Кстати, маяк нарисованный, да? что-то я его не припомню.
Очень советую фильм посмотреть, в нем вообще много Монреаля. и мой родной перекресток Онтарио-Фронтенак, и вид на гору Mount Royal.
