Chic-Fil-A
So after work today, my buddy Nick and I headed over to the new Chic-Fil-A by school for free sandwiches.
Good stuff. I wouldn't have posted on Livejournal unless there was something interesting about that.
So here's the interesting part. They make all of their food with PEANUT OIL. (For those of you who don't know, I am really allergic to peanuts/all types of nuts.) I have dined at this food franchise before, but for some reason I decided to read the packaging while I was eating, noticing the deadly 6-letter word.
The most interesting part.
I didn't die! Well, of course I didn't because I'm typing this right now, but I didn't even have a hint of an allergic reaction. I have no idea what's up. Typically I'd be grasping for air in anaphylactic shock but not today.
Thoughts? I don't want to assume I'm done being allergic with peanuts and take that chance again, but I don't know what happened.
