I have ended my relationship with John. It was for the best, may each other's memories fade and relevance dwindle.
This is the 4th day that I have woken up with Jordan. We're at my parents home, in Xondria's old room. Rogue is currently laying under the table as I prepare for work and he begins Sword & Sworcery. It seems like a cute game, I don't know the mechanics behind it, but I'm sure I'll become more aware as time passes. I have missed the aspect of LANing, and it's been so nice.
Jordan and I went to the Cheesecake Factory yesterday to celebrate, I had an eggplant sandwich and he a meatloaf. He has a sweet-alcohol based drink, Gorilla something. We then had Kah'lua cheesecake. It was delicious - couldn't finish it, it was so rich.
We went to Barnes & Nobles and bought a few Richard Dawkins books. "The Blind Watchmaker" & "The Greatest Show On Earth" There was a Metal Gear Solid Risk that looked pretty dope. Jordan bought himself a book on audio-related technologies for the gaming industry.
It'll be interesting to watch him grow as a developer and potentially make money towards a field he loves.
I think this is the best decision I could of made, given every circumstance I can think of. Ultimately, it's more beneficial for everyone involved in this manner than an alternative.
Either way, I am off to work.
