I am thinking of doing some flooring and cabinet work in the bathroom and flooring in the kitchen as well. For the flooring, I am thinking of going with Laminate, as it seems relatively durable and not too difficult. To that end...
1) In the bathroom, should I look into replacing the cabinets and vanity first, so I can then decide on the amount of floor space I need to cover?
2) My sink is a corner vanity, and I have cabinets, of course, with a single countertop. Should it remain a corner vanity? Can I switch it? Any good retailers for vanities/cabinets?
3) How does one work around wall baseboard mouldings when installing laminate tile on the floor?
4) What sort of saw would you recommend for cutting laminate tile?
I suppose that's all for now, and some of these questions I might ask at the store where I would buy the materials. But if anyone has been there before themselves, I welcome your input.
