Well, I was right about change coming. Though I was happily wrong about the type of change. Then again, I've been happily wrong about a lot of things the past week or so ( Read more... )

Ahh, but who knows. If men could mentally handle pregnancy/birth, they may have evolved to have the correct plumbing.

Oh yes. Because women do *so* well with handling it. What, with the moodswings and postpartum depression.

Let's see...son's mother: Doesn't bother to tell me we had a kid, tells him I'm this great person or something, yet doesn't let him see me until he's grown.

Daughter's mother: Suddenly leaves with no warning, then tosses baby and nanny at me while avoiding me. If we'd fought, I'd see that, but she was happy, and then suddenly was gone.

So yeah, I'm thinking Adri's on to something.

Or by that very same line of logic, one might consider you the common denominator, Gil.

I believe all eyes will be on Lady Emma and a few bets laid on whether or not she a) Leaves you at the altar, b) Leaves you after the birth, or c) She doesn't leave you at all.

Now about this wedding of yours. Can a certain Baron provide all the booze in lieu of a wedding gift to you both? Or would that be considered cheap?

Emma's not pregnant. I know it's hard to believe, what with me starting the current trend, but it's the truth.

As for common denominators, the sea is the common denominator between Minos and Rebma, yet somehow I don't think it's responsible for their animosity.

Wedding: See Emma or apparently Real.

Now Gil, this was something I didn't think I'd have to explain to you, of all men...

When a man loves a woman and a woman loves a man and they do something 'doomed' like get married, inevitably they produce babies.

I've been assured it's a natural order of progression. Some may consider it another nail in the coffin.

Pshaw. I don't need to get MARRIED to do that.

Birth control in my family is easy. If you do something epic, wait a while before the hanky panky.

Men want women to kiss a papercut better. Do you REALLY think they could handle labor?

gil_karm February 24 2009, 19:58:17 UTC
You DO realize the papercut thing is them hitting on you, right?

See, that line doesn't really work on me. Blame it on being weir. Seems like a good excuse...right?

C'mon, you buy it, don't you?

Well, don't bite the finger off, and it might work better!

Hey! I haven't bitten a finger off in at LEAST a month. Maybe even two!
