I Swear I'm Studying

More and more lately, I am seriously pondering a career in practicing/teaching yoga.

It just makes me feel so stress-free, strong, energetic, spiritual, peaceful, and accomplished all at once. I love it. I love how it combines spiritual self-awareness with body health awareness.

Anyway, back to studying for my POSC173 (Politics of California) midterm I am to encounter this Monday. I'm ridiculously behind on readings and I've only gone to two lectures in the past five weeks (the first day of class and the review we had today). Sooo... yeah. I have been going to my discussion sections for the class which is very good because I get attendence and participation points in there, but yeah. No good. I have a lot of reading to do.

I think I'll go to the library tomorrow morning; I have a book on reserve I need to return, and then I'll need to take out another so I might as well stay there. I'm also getting ancy about beginning my term paper for the class as the TA has recommended we start writing it by now, and I haven't even done any research nor fully decided what I'm going to write about. I'm thinking voting/election issues related to ballot machines vs. paper ballots. We'll see.

Ugh. I need more yoga in my life. Once a week is not enough. Oh! But Janel and I have agreed to start a running routine! Mondays and Thursdays at 6pm, Fridays at 4:45pm. A mile each time at least. I hope we can motivate one another to stick to it. My sister will probably join.

health, exams, school, yoga
