So basically, I want to blog all the details of this weekend's festivities (though I didn't go to the LA Festival of Books), but I don't think there's really enough space or way to justify it.
All I will say is (I will try to be brief, but it'll be difficult):
+Tribal Caravan was amazing.
+It was an honor to be taught by
Sharon Kihara--she's amazing, gorgeous, and so sweet and funny! (PS: Sharon Kihara is one of the world famous [touring] Bellydance Super Stars)
+
Ariellah's belly, arms, and chest class was AMAZING!
+I LEARNED SO MUCH. omg.
+I'm crazy sore. CRAZY. In places I've never been sore, like every muscle involving my shoulders, abs, weird places on my upper back, and lower back/above booty. Say nothing of my hips/thighs. So basically, my whole body. It's great. :D
+I'm officially obsessed with yoga, pilates, and tribal fusion.
+I want a pair of
Melo's. Once I pay off my mom, I'm buying a pair.
+Am having delusions of grandeur and want to be a pro belly dancer! ha
+No, really though.
I need to move to the Bay Area. It would make these delusions much easier to realize. Not that I don't have a long long way to go. Also, it's a great place for journalism so I could pursue both (uh.. somehow) and it'd be a win-win! I'll pick whatever course I'm more successful with!
Oh, God. Well, let's see how long this lasts. In the meantime, I'm going to be upping my yoga and pilates class attendance, and possibly trying out a belly dance class with Zahreen at Corona's
Yoga Den, because it's super close and Zahreen is actually supposed to be pretty damn good, AND she teaches tribal! Fuck yes! XD
Ooh, and I took a pic with Sharon and one with Ariellah. I will post both very soon!
Yoga today at 5pm! So excited. :)
