Keep Going

One final left, tomorrow. 7pm to 10pm. Late, huh? Ugh, and then finished with this stupid quarter. Blah. Can't wait, because that'll mean How Sweet It Is and Vegas. <3

I just wanted to say that Philosophy's 'Hope in a Jar' has totally lived up to my expectations. At first it was amazing, and then it was kind of whatever, but now that I've used it longer (like two weeks) it's seriously making my face so soft and smooth. LOVE it. I'm hardly wearing any make-up now... and Fresh's "High Noon" stuff is fabulous too for a nice glow. Woo.

I have recently acquired the rare talent of being able to crack my upper back/lower neck simply by stretching my head back far enough and squeezing my shoulder blades backward. Crazy. Kinda hurts, but feels great once I crack it. Gross.

Dude, I seriously cannot stop listening to Flogging Molly. I have their songs running through my head constantly. I've been trying to listen to dance music instead to get it out of me, but it keeps coming back. Gah!

Also, I had an amaaazing St. Patrick's Day on Monday with Nicole!! We went to downtown Fullerton and had drinks and rocked out to Irish music (including Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, etc.) and chatted with various folk (read: cute guys, or guys hitting on us). Nicole had like three good strong drinks. Had me an Irish car bomb (alone because Nicole's vegan and wouldn't break her vow for it/me haha :( :P) and a delicious glass of Harp (no Guinness outside the car bomb... too heavy), even though I was driving. So needless to say, we got quite tipsy. :X

Meaning... when the bar closed at 2am, and we didn't want to go home with these two guys we'd been talking to that also wouldn't leave us be (both in Vet school, one a cocky Australian--are they all that way or what?!), we couldn't really drive home because I wasn't sober enough yet. Bad bad. Luckily, Nicole's boy came and met up with us since he got off work, saved us from the two guys, and then took us to Norm's which is like a local Denny's with better food (their motto is: "We never close!"). We ate delicious food, laughed, joked, and generally sobered up (well, I did haha). Oh, and took pictures! <3 Wow. Didn't leave to get driven back to my car until like 4am. Goooood times! And then, I had to get up for work at 7am and a final to study for the next day. *facepalm*

Oh well, it was totally worth it. :D Seriously, the best St. Patrick's Day I've ever had. Yay for celebrating it, even though I have not an ounce of Irish in me.

Wtf, my cat is staring at herself in my mirror. So vain. XD

And I should probably get to studying, although my exam tomorrow is open book AND open note.. all essay, but still. Freaking awesome/ridiculous.

adventures, random, friends
