Weekend-Feuffen

Best weekend I've had in a long time. :D

Q: What do you get when you mix a Brit, an Aussie, an Allison, myself, and Georgetown??
A: Good times, random moments, interesting conversation, and getting tipsy!

So, most of the weekend was pretty spontaneous and everywhere, and that's how I prefer it to be. Didn't go to the Black Cat and Artin didn't get to hang out with us last night (ran into him on Saturday evening!), but improvising with Georgetown was a good idea despite our foreign friends' lack of understanding for what it means to have a vegan in our midst. I got kind of drunk at Mi-En-Yu after we had dinner at this Italian place (my plate was amazing) though, but good drinks, good company, and good music? The best.

Saturday we (Allison and I) spent the night in Fairfax at Dan and Alex's apartment (completely innocent! don't get any ideas) on accident... we had some drinks and such, watched The West Wing (or Dan tried, at least), and then knocked out in the living room when we decided we were too buzzed/tired to take the metro back. In the morning we ate at IHOP, and then eventually Alex and Dan took us back to DC. ^_^ I had lots of fun with those guys and Allison, although methinks Dan and Alex were pretty done with our craziness. XD

Needless to say, I went to bed late last night after some political talk with Gabriel and Alex (Aussie and British guy) following dinner and drinks, so I actually woke up at 10am when my class started. *facepalm* But I made it down in about ten minutes.

My last week of class! I'm so sad, really, although I've been slacking in the class sort of... just not as into it. I guess I've gotten distracted in the past week or so. I need to change that. Also, I'm sad about most of my friends here leaving me behind. :\

Still, I don't want to go home. I'm perfectly glad to stay another five weeks. Also, I hope I can visit Dezzie, Farzad, and New York as planned, in the meantime.

I wish I weren't going back home to school in August/September. I wish I could travel more elsewhere after this. x_x

adventures, friends, dc
