Just a few more days to go.
I'm ticking off the days until I get to move into my "new" house. The previous owner closed on her house on Monday and should have already started moving out. Hopefully *crosses fingers* she will be moved out on Sunday. Lucky me, I have Tuesday and Wednesday off this week and then start 7 days off/vacation on Friday. I can't wait to move downstairs and get settled in.
The week I have off will be filled with lots of home improvement projects and getting the upstairs apartment ready for rental. Trying to find a renter thru friends has not worked out, unfortunately, it's looking like I will be placing an ad in the newspaper next week so I can show the place during my week off of work. If anyone knows a reliable, trust worthy person looking for an apartment in the St. Cloud area...send them my way!! It's in a quiet family neighborhood and I would be living downstairs, so I would be looking for someone who is reasonably quiet and wouldn't annoy myself or my neighbors. Though I am a smoker, the apartment is non-smoking due to my allergies acting up when I live in a smoky environment. I'm crossing my fingers for someone who can move in June 1st, but at this point, I may not find anyone who can move in until July 1st.
