Ticks Another Project Off The List
My brother stopped by a few hours ago to remove the old, ancient beast of an air conditioner that was here when I moved in and put in the new unit my father and I picked up last week. I'm glad that he was able to beat my dad over here and get the job done before my dad even got off of work. The old AC was super heavy and I was worried about my dad hurting himself. He sounded disappointed that we did it with out him, but I'm sure he'll get over it pretty quickly.
Of course the bad home improvement projects of the previous owners strikes again and what should have been a pretty simple job of removing the old AC turned into a couple hour project. Fortunately my brother has more patience than I do when it comes to the weird ass ways the previous owners did things around here and there wasn't any yelling or swearing like when I'm the one dealing with fixing or working around their stupidity.
The cats seem to approve of the idea of a new AC. Or at least of the box it came in.
