Music Score

A few days ago I was at the Walmart looking for a big door prize for my team members holiday party. I normally don't shop at the Walmart for many reasons, mainly because of how insane it always is, but also what they do to smaller local businesses and their business practices. Anyway, while I was there, I was in the electronics department and came across these 4 disc box sets of music for $11.98. They had the Sun music collection, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Bob Marley and a handful more. I have wanted the Sun music collection for years, but when I originally was wanting to buy it is was over $50 and couldn't afford it. I love all things Ella and Billie as well, so I knew I had to go back. I went last night and got Ella, Billie and the Sun music collection. I think I need to go back and see if they have the Bob Marley one still, I used to have a lot of his music, but after working at the coffee house over the years, only have one scratched CD left.

Few other music related things...

I just discovered that they have turn tables that you can take your vinyl and rip them into MP3s! I've been checking prices and found a few places online that have them for around $100. My grand parents gave me some Christmas money and I would enough to pick one up. I'm really excited at the idea of listening to my vinyl again and being able to burn it to CD's.

Does anyone have an ipod or other MP3 player and uses the itune thingy for your car? I've heard mixed reviews on it. My CD player in my car is dying and I was thinking about just getting an ipod and the itune thing that makes it so you can listen to your music over unused stations on your car radio. How well does it work for reals? Anyone?
